First Day Summary and Assignment
Many people who worship God fear that capitalism is immoral. However, countries that follow God’s plan are following the plan that works best and leads to greatest prosperity and plan that emphasizes private property, trading, laws, a government that knows its place and supports fair institutions. If you have all of this, then the soil is right for entrepreneurship. But, as we saw if you do not have all of this you can create it in your village or region and still have greater prosperity. The opportunities are all around you.
Assignment 1:
Go to a businessman, ask about how they do their business: do they specialize and have division of labor? Who are his customers? How does he know what price to charge? Does he own his property? Just try to understand what he does and how he does it and see how it matches up with what we discussed today.
